Robin and I have been wanting to see the The Morgan Library & Museum for several months. We finally made it happen today and it was worth waiting for. It’s a museum and independent research library located not far from Grand Central Terminal. It began as the personal library of financier, collector, and cultural benefactor Pierpont Morgan. As early as 1890 Morgan had begun to assemble a collection of illuminated, literary, and historical manuscripts, early printed books, and old master drawings and prints. Take a look at some of the gorgeous pieces we saw today.
