I’m back from my six day trip to NYC…and it was a great trip. It was bittersweet, saying farewell to cast 6 of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child …but it was also wonderful being able to see so many people in just a short frame of time. As always, the best part of my trips is the people….the old friends and the new friends and the unexpected running into friends. Yesterday was another epic walking tour adventure with Adam Guy , tour extraordinaire and owner of I Know A Guy NYC Tours . This was tour #8 for me and great friend Audrey Zane  joined us. We went to Bushwick, a Brooklyn neighborhood known for its artsy vibes. Adam suggested this tour because I’ve done Chelsea, the Village, Hudson Yards, the Financial District, Roosevelt Island, Central Park, Coney Island, Queens and Flushing with him previously, and this was something new an

“Goodfellas” is one of my favorite movies and this car begged for a great pic with it as it was straight out of the movie!   Audrey and Adam and I were allll about the fun, funny and serious poses on the tour….had a blast as usual!!  It was cold and it rained towards the end but we soldiered on briefly (I tuckered out and my hair was a mess)! Book a walking tour with Adam…it will enhance your travel experience in NYC and you’ll have an amazing time!!

“Ragtime” on Friday night at Lincoln Center was absolutely amazing…extended until June 2026…if you can go see it, you definitely must! Stellar everything!!   My friend, Jason Forbach, is in it and he shines!! He met up with us after the show and so generously gifted me a signed by-the-entire-cast poster that I will get framed. He is incredible in the show….don’t miss it!

Bagels at our favorite place and we saw our favorite door greeter, Evan, and our favorite manager, Leanne!! We gifted her with a cool painted bagel  rock from our lovely friend and artist, Sharon Barton Dale ! Everything bagel today and had delish candy corn butter  and also sublime horseradish butter!! also tried the artichoke and spinach cream cheese which Allen and Audrey loved!!

28th trip to Hogwarts….cast change weekend….great to be home again

I first saw “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” in March 2023 with Scott and Craig. I had a Broadway podcast at the time…my podcast partner and I interviewed two of the primary cast, Erik and Joel (who would become friends AND are my forever favorite CC cast members).
