Tenement Museum!

The tours at the Tenement Museum are always educating and fascinating. We did a “100 years apart” tour that documented a Jewish family who moved to the lower East side in 1870, and an Asian family that moved to the same neighborhood in 1970. So highly recommend these tours when you come to NYC.
