September 2, 2025 - The Lion King Musical

 Really enjoyed seeing “The Lion King” for the first time onstage on Sunday….the costumes, puppetry, and music were as beautiful as everyone has told me they would be. It was sweet to see lots of children enjoying the show. We had a couple of littles around us who were both antsy but also so cute and funny with their reactions.

Gavin Lee as Scar and L. Steven Taylor as Mufasa were just truly stunning. You hate Scar, but you can’t wait for him to be onstage because he is so good! We were fortunate to see Tshidi Manye in her next to last show in the Sunday matinee…..she has played Rafiki over 9,000 times in a 2-decade span and she was beautiful. Her costume and performance were eye popping!
