Yesterday was a truly beautiful day in the city, starting with lunch in Chinatown with the hilarious and fun Leif Estrada and Rob. Saw the beautiful Rockefeller Center tree  going up. Then it was time to see “Ragtime” at New York City Center. A beautiful and incredible theater experience that was profoundly moving. Joshua Henry who played Coalhouse Walker Jr. received a standing ovation in Act 2 that was so emotional. The woman next to me (from Canada) said that in her 28 years living in the city, she had never seen that happen. It was emotional and palpable thru the theater. It moved us both to tears as we talked about it. IYKYK

Ran around by Bryant Park, met a beautiful angel , quick pizza (again!) for dinner, and then went to see the hilarious and GORGEOUS “Death Becomes Her,” which played to a lively, packed house. Treated myself to a luscious Irish coffee and so enjoyed laughing for 2 hours! Megan Hilty and Jennifer Simard were fantastic! Wrapped up the night doing stage door at Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and seeing cast friends, and grabbed some snacks and drinks with Leif and Rob again to finish a gorgeous autumn day in the city.  And think of my late sister all throughout the day.
