Nov 8, 2025 - Harry Potter and the Cursed Child

I first saw “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” in March 2023 with Scott and Craig. I had a Broadway podcast at the time…my podcast partner and I interviewed two of the primary cast, Erik and Joel (who would become friends AND are my forever favorite CC cast members). We interviewed another great cast member, David, as well.

The play explores family, friendship, risk, vulnerability, trust, love and betrayal. It’s three hours long and I’ve seen it 27 times (3 of these were the tour) and have loved it every single time.

This weekend is cast change from cast 6 to cast 7. This play changed my life. Not only making friends in the cast but also making friends in the fandom, especially besties Leif and Robb, introducing friends to the play, and plunging me into a love of Broadway and local theatre.

I sent a thank you cake and other sweets to my cast buddies this week. Tonight and all tomorrow will be lovely and also bittersweet.
