Merrily We Roll Along (RECAP)

“Merrily We Roll Along” last night was really magical. It was my second time to see it (saw it with Amy Jensen last year and it was a lot to digest) and Jennifer Lyn’s first time and we were really thrilled to see it together. Jonathan and the cast received a long standing ovation in the middle of a scene where he is receiving a tape recorder as a fake Tony - something that also happened on Tuesday of this week as recognition of the Tony awards he and Daniel won Sunday, FOR OBVIOUS REASONS (truly wish Lindsay had won in her category cuz she’s wonderful)! They were also taping last night’s show so that made it even cooler. Seeing it a second time helped me to understand it more (there’s a lot going on!) AND even more appreciate the golden talent onstage. Even better to have shared it with friends twice!
