March 22, 2023

Late posting for Wednesday, March 22nd….was a day on the run after sleeping in for a bit….grabbed my decaf iced latte at Dunkin' (every single Dunkin store I’ve been into, the baristas are so nice and fast!) and went to Greenwich Village to an awesome British restaurant called Tea and Sympathy. Heard about this gem of a place on Instagram and I loved it!! They serve a huge selection of hot teas and all kinds of delicious food like shepherds pie, beef stew, soups, etc. I opted for a salad with grilled chicken on it and a pot of orange citrus tea.…so good! I walked around for a little bit and then got on the subway to get to “The Daily Show” line early….6th in line and got a great seat. On my walk from the subway to the studio, I met Kruschev the  and he was a cutie! Al Franken was the guest host for The Daily Show, Jordan Klepper did a man-on-the-street piece and Heather C. McGhee was interviewed regarding her new book “The Sum Of Us.” Thank you Amber Howell for pulling the clip of me in the audience  I grabbed a quick grilled cheese/tomato soup dinner at The Waylon and walked over to the American Airlines Theatre to see the second night of previews for “Fat Ham.” It took me awhile to get into it but I was definitely entertained and happy with the ending (if you like Hamlet, you will like the show). The male lead for this show was Marquis D. Gibson and he was amazing. #NYC #nyeats #greenwichvillage #teaandsympathy #kruschevthedog #thedailyshow #alfranken #JordanKlepper #heathermcghee #thewaylon #fatham #247 #24days7thingsaday
