I’ve been back a couple weeks from my trip to NYC March 8-18th, but it was a busy and fun blast. Walked an average of 10,300 steps a day which is always good. Ate, had coffee, did tours, hung out, saw shows with 25 friends, some of who graciously travelled in by train and car, and all of who took time out of their busy achedules to hang out! Allen Roybal came into town for a long weekend and let me run him all over the city. Saw 13 shows (As Time Goes By, Harry Potter, The Outsiders, Broadway Backwards, Smash, The Jonathan Larson Project, Streetcar Named Desire, Cabaret, Sunset Blvd, Seth Rudetsky Stars In The House Tribute To Finn). Walking tour in Chinatown and a HiLine/Chelsea/West Village walking tour with my bestie tour guide, I Know A Guy NYC Tours. Did my first ever tour of the Empire State Building which was incredible. Went to The Metropolitan Museum which is always a favorite! Saw the Luna Luna exhibit at The Shed. Saw the Anne Frank exhibit, which was sobering. Of course I ate a Chevy full of pizza, bagels, burgers, cookies, croissants, pastrami, sweets and dumplings. Tried Moroccan food for the first time! Had tea at Bergdorf which I love so much. Met many, many adorable dogs….but none as epic as Snoopy Lou. As always, the best part is seeing my friends.
And my favorite place, which brings me great joy, is the Lyric on 43rd. Cheers….see you again soon!
