March 20, 2025 - Ess-a-Bagel 1st ave

I finally tried the bagels at Ess-a-Bagel, after strong recommendations from Samuel G Friedman for the past two years….Popup Bagels are my favorite but there are lots of other options to try, too.  

Toasted everything bagel with lox cream cheese was very tasty after a rainy walk through East Village this past Monday morning. It was warm and chewy and I loved the cream cheese….but Popup is still in first place (I like Zucker’s, too) but I have many more to try!
