March 16, 2025 - New York with Allen

Allen and I started off our Saturday with THE BEST bagels hot out of the oven from Popup Bagels on the Upper East Side…..dipped in hot honey butter and plain cream cheese ….we were so happy! A quick walk to The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York and we wandered through the Egypt exhibit which is expansive and gorgeous.

Another quick walk in the neighborhood to my favorite, Levain Bakery, for the best cookies in town…they’re like volcanoes of chocolate and they were still warm from the oven. Winston  was such a cutie…a honking horn startled him as we crossed a street with him but then a shouting match between a cabbie and a postal truck driver did not, cuz he was eating treats from his Mom.
