March 13, 2026 - Algonquin

Tuesday night was our last night in NYC…Kristen and I booked it from the Colbert Show and went to the historic Algonquin Hotel….we looked for their new hotel  cat but the hotel is under renovation and when it’s finished, they’ll adopt a kitty from a rescue or shelter (Hamlet retired recently). We shared the most sublime burger  and fries and had a fantastic cookie ice cream sandwich for dessert, all while listening to a wonderful piano player tickle the ivories so beautifully. We truly made our last dinner of vacation so special and fun  this hotel is just so cool
