June 3, 2025 - Celebrity Run-In

You never know who you’ll run into in NYC….I met Martin Kove (Cobra Kai, Karate Kid, Cagney & Lacey) three years ago at FanJam Expo in Dallas. He and William Zabka and another actor from Cobra Kai were there. I wore a t-shirt with William and Ed Asner on it (Ed was Johnny’s stepdad in the show) and brought one for Johnny. Martin told me how Ed wrote a sponsor letter for him to help him be a member of SAG years and years ago. He LOVED Ed!!

When I saw Martin tonight on the street, I stopped him and said hi and told him how I met him above etc. He was so cool to take a pic with me. He totally remembered and oh yeah….COBRA KAI never dies!! #sweeptheleg
