Yesterday, after going to the Flatiron District, I was going to take the subway to the Upper East Side to see the outside of the building from “The Nanny” (absolutely loved that show!), but instead, I was right in front of the Fotografiska New York museum which has AMAZING photography exhibits (I’ve seen “50 years of HipHop” and a Terry O’Neill exhibit there in the past year). They have a two-floor exhibit of Vivian Maier photography there currently (there’s a fascinating documentary about her that is worth the watch….I saw it in the theatre like 10 years ago but just looked it up and see that it will be on TMC soon). They also have a local photographer’s exhibit (Jean-Andre Antoine) and a controversial photographer’s exhibit (Bruce Gilden). Every visit to this museum always delivers….it’s off the beaten path and it’s always worth it to explore it
