February 13, 2025: 54 Below

This past Sunday night in New York, Samuel G Friedman and I went to 54 Below (a cabaret nightclub)….Brent Comer put on a concert there, singing with his great pipes and telling us about his musical theatre journey to playing the older greaser brother, Darrel, on Broadway in “The Outsiders”….he is my favorite cast member….it’s an intense and serious role as he feels the weight of the world on his shoulders, raising his two younger brothers.

I’ve met him several times and he’s extremely sweet and good to his growing fandom. He just extended his contract, too….so if you’re in NYC and you need a show that will make you cry, remind you to value family and friends, and you want to see an AMAZING fight scene onstage, go see The Outsiders. Can’t wait to see the path that Brent takes with his talents!
