Last night, Katherine Price and I went to a Juneteenth event at The Cell Theatre. Musician Amyra Leon performed and host Ayla Sullivan was full of great energy. Other guests got on the mic with their stories….the theatre has a cozy, cool vibe and the event was really interesting. I hopped in a Lyft when it finished and went to City Winery NYC near the Whitney to hear “Funny Girl” lead Ramin Karimloo and his band, The Broadgrass Band, perform. I caught their last two songs (one being a Phantom favorite - listen below). Easy on the eyes and easy on the ears. I left him a podcast mug & card…future guest maybe?!? That would be cool….
