“Maybe Happy Ending” round two.

It is a very sweet. It has beautiful sets and visuals, explores technology, themes of love and connections and memories (happy and sad), and weaves in jazzy singing, between Darren Criss and Helen J. Shen’s numbers. I loved Darren in “Little Shop” and saw this show last year. Saw it again last night to refresh my memory and take in some elements I missed the first time around. It won the Tony this year for Best Musical. I don’t know if I agree with that but I’m not a Tony voter and I’m still learning theater, so it’s irrelevant. I’m so glad I saw it again though because the actors and the sets really wow me.
